Dormouse Sculpture in Progress
The Sculptress JOEL has taken advice from the Dormouse specialist John Prince to achieve the best likeness for the Greensand Ridge Dormice Sculptures.
"It is attention to detail and talking with those who know their subject which makes all the difference in bringing an animal to life in sculpture" says JOEL
Sponsors for the Greensand Sculpture Project
If you are interested in becoming a sponsor for the Greensand Sculpture Project Please contact the Tenon Studio.
A series of detailed portraits of British Wildlife are being made to help develop and promote conservation projects co-ordinated by the Peter SmithTrust, an independent environmental charity.
Sponsors have already supported the making of the Bronze sculpture of a Little Owl ...with a special message of the need for quickness to respond with conservation...and a beautiful study of Dormice with Hazel Nuts– all were lovingly made in Clay by the Sculptress JOEL and cast into Bronze.
JOEL is currently working on portraits of Sand Martins for the project – but sponsors are needed to develop the range of Bronzes, giving Wildlife enthusiasts with a love of Art the opportunity to enjoy their passion with involvement in this project.
Sponsors can remain anonymous, or receive the benefit of publicity,
can contribute or completely fund a sculpture – enjoying the whole process from the initial design through to the exhibition of the Bronzes in 2011.
If you have in mind another design, wildlife or other subject, also contact the Tenon Studio to speak to the Sculptress JOEL
